About Arleigh

Arleigh is trained in a variety of dance styles and specializes in Tap, Hip Hop, and Commercial Dance.  Arleigh is a proud graduate of Ithaca College, where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Television-Radio, with a concentration in Video Production.

 

Recently, Arleigh performed in Candyland (NYC), in the show closer choreographed by FrancoTh3Artist, one of the most sought-after Hip Hop dancers and choreographers.

Arleigh was featured in the 2022 PEOPLE x Prudential "Who's Your Rock" Campaign, tap dancing, and speaking about her rock, tap-great, Derick K. Grant. Arleigh is proud to be a member of Dormeshia's Sophisticated Ladies, tap dancing at The Cotton Club from 2010 - 2020, every Monday night.  

As a Choreographer and Dancer, Arleigh created the HSBC Tap and Go Flash Mob and Commercial featuring 30 dancers (including 18 tap dancers).  In the summer of  2019, Arleigh was a solo dancer for a Sabrina Carpenter ad for the hit song "In My Bed". Arleigh's television credits include several appearances on Good Morning America, dancing in the International Commercial "Create with miadidas"  and appearing in the Extra Gum/2018 VMAs Lauv Performance and Teaser.  

 

In 2017 Arleigh launched her Music Video Dance Camp (now known as MVP/Music Video Program) which gives young dancers the opportunity to be in official music videos with artists.  Arleigh Choreographed, Directed, and Edited "Dreams" for the groundbreaking artist TruthCity, "Descontrólate" for Celeste Lanuza, "Head To The Sky" by Nova RnB, and "Take A Look At Me Now" by Don Ferlazzo. "Take A Look At Me Now" was nominated for Music Video of the Year Award, at the 2022 Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards.  The program will be releasing two videos in the Spring of 2024 with the artists Annette St. John and Miosotis.

Modeling Credits include a 2023 episode of the TODAY show as a swimwear model, hair model for Oribe classes, stand-in for Rag and Bone, and clothing model for LAL Couture.

Additional Stage Credits include Rhythm Is Our Business, produced by Tony Waag, directed by Derick K. Grant, with choreography by Derick K. Grant and Dormeshia, as well as Ernest “Brownie” Brown’s "Old Man Time" at Symphony Space, Harold Cromer’s "Broadway Medley" at Haft Theater, Derick K. Grant's Show Once Upon a Tap at The Harris Theater in Chicago, Mr. Grant's NYC Preview of Imagine Tap, Dormeshia's Michael Jackson Tribute in A Shared Evening (with Michelle Dorrance), and Dormeshia's "Smooth Criminal" at the NYC Summer Stage Series. Arleigh has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world including The Apollo Theater and World Famous Cotton Club.  She also performed at Symphony Space in the moving piece "Puerto Rico, We Will Rise" by Maria Torres.

 

Additional Television and Video Credits include the Malibu Rum Funky Dip Flashmob Commercial choreographed by Tweetie, the Step Up 3D Promo Music Video with choreography by Michelle Dorrance, the Sesame Street 40th Season, and appearances in the films Step Up 3D and Friends with Benefits.

 

While attending Ithaca College, Arleigh founded the Ithaca College Tap Dance Club, and conceived and co-directed the Finger Lakes Tap Dance Festival.
